Flag Blocks

This flag decoration was fun and easy to construct. I made it with 2-6 inch long and 3-9 inch long 2x4's, and a square 3.25 x 3.25 block, for the star block. I white washed the blocks with watered down cream paint. Then I used mod podge to adhere scrapbook paper to the front of each block. After the paper was dry I adhered vinyl lettering and the star. Then I took a small stamp pad and rubbed it on the edges to give it an aged look. Lastly I tied a ribbon around the stack of blocks. Happy 4th of July!

Ghost

These cute ghosts were made with my son's handprints. Some googley eyes did just the trick to turn them into some friendly ghosts.
