Edible Turkey Craft

 We made these a couple of years ago, and I remember the kids having so much fun making and eating them. I think we'll do it again this year! 

It's really easy you just need to make sure you have the supplies on hand.
-apples
-toothpicks
-colored marshmallows
-mini m&m's
-any hershey kiss with a gold wrapper
-gummy lifesavers
-a red starburst or chewy jolly rancher

Happy Halloween

I love this time of year! Halloween kicks off the holiday season with a bang! I get so excited to decorate the house, I might have put up my decorations a week or two ago. Maybe :)

One Smart Cookie

For the end of the school year I made these cookie jars for my kid's teachers. I found this idea on pinterest. I added my own touch by etching the first letter of each teacher's name on their jar.

To etch it is really simple! At your local craft store you can find etching solution. Here is a link to see what etching solution I used. It was much cheaper at my craft store and I actually had it leftover from another craft, there is a ton in one bottle! You could etch many things with one bottle. To make the letter stencil I just cut out vinyl on my cricut. Then followed the directions on the etching solution.

Christmas trees

Okay, these pictures aren't so great... with my Daisy girl scout troop we made these christmas trees.

All you need is a sugar ice cream cone, green frosting, candy or sprinkles to decorate as ornaments. Spread your frosting all over an upside down cone placed on top of a paper plate. Then go to town decorating! You couldn't ask for easier!

Silly Face Cupcakes

For my son's birthday he requested silly face cupcakes. I must say these were some of the most fun cupcakes to put together yet! You can make anything. I just went down the candy isle to see which candies looked like eyes, hair, and mouths. Really sky is the limit!

Sheep Cupcakes

I made these for the kid's bake sale at school today. Happy Spring!

a baked cupcake

white frosting

mini marshmallows cut in half

pink frosting 

black frosting 

Columbus Day Dinner

This was our super last minute lets celebrate the day idea. We had chips that were the waves, hoagie sandwich and a straw with a paper sail taped to it. It was a big hit with the kids!
