Turkey Craft

Today we decided to get our craft on and made these little turkeys. We used cheap paper plates to glue on the feathers and then cut out a brown body out of construction paper and glued it on. In my craft closet I found the wooden sticks which we used for the head/neck and added some googly eyes and just used makers for the beak and wattle. (I have to say I was super surprised that my 4 year old knew what a wattle is and what it is called. Yeah, I didn't know the name for it until I was 30!)

My little guy drew some arms and on his neck he said that was a freckle :)

Edible Turkey Craft

We made these a couple of years ago, and I remember the kids having so much fun making and eating them. I think we'll do it again this year!

It's really easy you just need to make sure you have the supplies on hand.
-apples
-toothpicks
-colored marshmallows
-mini m&m's
-any hershey kiss with a gold wrapper
-gummy lifesavers
-a red starburst or chewy jolly rancher
