We love the Olympics at our house. We started the celebration on Friday by making this paper chain decoration to hang up in our family room. We used the colors of the olympic rings and white. My 11 year old made pretty much the whole thing. That night while we watched the Opening Ceremonies we had root beer floats, laughed at some parts and ooh and awed during other parts. London did an amazing job on the ceremonies!
I found this cereal at the grocery store and thought it would be fun to make necklaces out of it. The kids loved making them and eating them :)
We just picked up some of that cereal today! I might have to steal this for them to do with Kate and Maya while we're gone this week! :) Thanks!
